Prayer Request

I’m taking a quick break from my blogging break to ask for a bit of prayer. I’ve moved into the writing process (if you’re new to my blog, I’m writing a book for wives whose husbands struggle with porn) and things have been going well, very well. I hope to have two chapters complete by the end of the month.

Anyway, I sent out a few tweets last week asking wives who have dealt with this issue to fill out a questionnaire. I want to share other wives’ stories, not just mine. The response has been amazing. Now here is the request part… since the responses started coming in, I have felt incredibly burdened by these women’s stories. Not in a bad way; really it’s more like a passion than a burden. A passion to share their stories with others. To honor them and respect them. I am beyond humbled to have the responsibility to keep and share other women’s stories, amazing stories of pain and grace and hope. I am burdened by the overwhelming desire to tell them well. Please pray that I do.

If you are completing the questionnaire for me, thank you. Thank you for trusting me enough and allowing me to enter into your story. If you are a wife and would like to complete a questionnaire, please email me though the contact button on the sidebar. I’d be glad to get one to you.

Thanks for your prayers, friends. Thank you.

I said a prayer this morning for all those I knew who were undertaking writing projects this year. The prayer was a general one but I will definitely be more specific in my requests for you. I believe you will do a great job in honoring these women as you share their stories. My prayers are with you.
