Nicole:
This is my first time sneaking on your blog. Thank you for your heart for Adoption - and for exposing the world to your story and your heart and your perspective.
Really.
I've been following your twitter/facebook updates, but never clicked over here 'til Tam (inprogress) told me to come check your adoption stuff.
Thank you.
Just wanted to let you know.
~Mandy

I found my birth mother when I was 50. I also found I had an older brother and sister. What a blessing. I remember when I was struggling with life at 16, wishing I had an older sister to confide in and an older brother to protect me. How God must have smiled. My birth mother was pleased I found her. My joy was that I could tell her thank you for giving me life and loving me enough to place me. Even God placed his only one and only with a sweet girl named Mary. Thank you Lorene for giving me life.

Wow. I like your insight into the story of Hannah and Samuel. I always wondered about how hard it must have been for her to leave him too.
A great way to showcase the "other side of adoption".
