Grace Week
This vlog marks the start of grace week. I’m really excited to be sharing posts everyday this week from some great friends who have some cool thoughts about grace. Watch the video to find out who.
Speaking of grace, this was my first vlog and it’s far from perfect. It actually cuts out at the end and I’m to tired to fix it. But, were talking about grace so you’ll so cut me some slack, right?

I enjoyed seeing/hearing the real (youtubed) you!
I can show grace to others far faster than I can receive it myself.
My expectation that I should be perfect is getting less (hallelujah) in the external areas — housekeeping, cooking, how many hours of TV my kids watch, etc. But it really upsets my apple cart when my imperfections of character come to light: offending someone, blowing my top.
For those times I haven’t been shown grace — example, getting a speeding ticket, I enter Fear Mode whenever I sin (break a traffic law) and have even the slightest thought that I might get caught (and shown even LESS grace) again. I know that God is full of grace — but people sure aren’t. Therefore it makes it really hard to receive grace from God when I feel I’m just sitting around fearing the judgment of human beings.
Hey! It was good seeing and hearing you!
I think something I just wrote on my blog has a bit to do with grace:
“My failures, much more than my victories, have allowed me to experience the greatness of God’s love.
I have been able to experience God’s grace and goodness in many different scenarios but for some reason I feel it stronger when I’m a total mess, I truly believe it’s because I need it more at those times and of course, he knows it.
Nicole, I’m excited for this week… and honored to be a part!
Please vlog again… you did a great job and it was fun to hear your voice! :)
To me, grace is the epitome of unconditional love. God bestows forgiveness and salvation and understanding despite the fact that we’ve done nothing to earn it, and often our actions tell Him we don’t even want it. We can never bestow grace in the way He does, but as in all things we should do our best to live by His example.
Thrilled to be asked and honored to be included anywhere with Jonathan McIntosh.
Thanks for thinking of me, Nicole!
